Lang Lang – The Disney Book Live in Concert

Globally acclaimed piano virtuoso Lang Lang presented a special new event The Disney Book Live in Concert, in celebration of his critically-acclaimed album on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2023 at the legendary Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

I was tasked with creating a set of stunning and immersive animated backgrounds that transport the audience into the world of Disney's classic films. Using the vast archive of Disney's beloved stories, and themes, I created a dynamic and visually engaging experience that complements the live performances at the Radio City Music Hall.

My design approach was focused on creating a seamless integration between the animated backgrounds and the live performances, with each element enhancing the other to create a truly unforgettable experience for the audience. The backgrounds featured a range of techniques, including 2D and 3D animation, motion graphics, and visual effects, all crafted to capture the essence of Disney's beloved worlds.

Overall, this project represents a unique opportunity to combine the best of Disney's creative legacy with the grandeur and spectacle of the Radio City Music Hall.
